Increase Your Max Bench Press

So youve hit a point where you cant seem to increase your bench press? Dont worry; it happens to all of us as some point. There are many things that you can do to get back on track to building a bigger chest and growing muscle strength. Here are a few suggestions.

Take It Easy

Have you been training hard for too long without taking a few days rest? Perhaps your muscles are getting tired with accumulated stress over time and all you need is a good rest so that they can fully recover before reaching maximum recuperation and increased strength. There are times when after a few days off I come back to the gym bigger and stronger than ever. You should take a rest week every 2 months or so.

Check Your Frequency

Are you working the bench often enough? Or are you hitting it more than you should? Aim for once to twice a week for great gains and make sure that each workout puts enough stress on your muscles so that they are tired the day afterwards. If they arent tired the day afterwards then it is time to change up your chest exercises to make sure that they keep adapting and that they keep growing as in response.

Change Your rep Range

Have you been using the same 8-12 rep range for months already? Try using a lower rep range like 5-8 for a month or two and see the difference. Or switch to the higher 15-20 rep range to keep your muscles growing. It is best to alternate between the three rep ranges. Change it up every few months so that your muscles will develop a variety of rep strengths and keep adapting to different stimulus (and therefore gaining size). Changing rep ranges will increase the bench press max of your original rep range because the muscle will have to grow in strength to adapt to the new kind of stress placed on it.

Vary Your Exercises

Dont do the barbell bench press on its own and expect your chest to grow to its full potential. Include other exercises like dumbbell bench press, dips, cable crossovers, dumbbell pull-overs and dumbbell flies. This will grow the entirety of your chest to its best potential. Every few months, change the exercises up again by changing the order in which you do the exercises, adding incline or decline exercises, and changing all the exercises for other chest exercises altogether.

Change Your Grip

Changing your grip (the way you hold the bar) will help to develop other muscles that might not usually get as much stimulus for the bench press but are still crucial to performing the lift. These muscles include your forearms, and even parts of the triceps, shoulders and chest itself. When these muscles are stressed more and strengthened by changing your grip for a period of time, they will be more capable of supporting your original bench press, therefore helping you beat your max. 

Strengthen Your Supporting Muscles

What if the weaker triceps or shoulders are the culprits that are limiting your bench results? Weaker triceps, for example, will tire before your chest muscles get the decent workout they deserve and therefore you stop before they get the stimulus needed to grow at their best. Try strengthening these supporting muscles so that your chest has all the time it needs to work its magic under the bar.

Check Your Diet

In order for muscle to grow, your calorie intake needs to exceed your calorie expenditure (what else would they grow from if all the food you eat is burnt up as energy?) Lack of sleep could lead to quicker over-training, lack of motivation, and worst of all... lost gains.

The better ebooks, courses and seminars add two extra steps to take advantage of an old marketing adage called the Rule of 7. So, if youve been looking for the answer to "How to make money online?" then here is the formula to follow:

The most important things you have to ask yourself are "What are your actual expectations?", and "How well do you understand what your actually doing for each step?".

Your expectations will determine how long youll follow through with the plan. If you expect to make $10,000 in two weeks, and after 3 weeks you still havent made a sale then youll probably give up and call it a scam, (Thats usually caused by salespages making unrealistic promises). Even more importantly is how well you understand what needs to be done for each step. Even if it is possible to make $10,000 in two weeks, it isnt likely to happen unless you do everything exactly right.

Your expectation shouldnt be to make $10,000 in two weeks. Instead, your goal should be to learn exactly how to do each step necessary for a successful marketing campaign.

So, if youve been searching google, forums, blogs, ebooks, etc. for the answer to "How to make money online?", or even worse looking for "How to Get Rich Quick?", then youre asking the wrong questions. Youve probably already found that answer over and over again, but keep ignoring it because that 3 step or 5 step formula I outlined above isnt complete enough for you to understand how to make it work.

Instead you should be asking questions about how to do each of those steps; "How do I find a good product to sell?", "How do I find the best niche to market in?", "How do I set up a website that effectively promotes a product?" "How do I write articles that will lead a prospect to buy?", "How do I entice visitors to submit their emails?", "How do I get visitors to my website that are looking to buy?"

My Journey Make Money With Amazon Affiliate

Im a 20 year old college student that never wants to work the 9-5. Im creating an Amazon
affiliate website for a niche that I believe is somewhat exposed. I starting learning html/css at
the beginning of High school, then fell into the Dreamweaver trap and ultimately designed a disgusting website with content that I copied from an official website in addition to a few filler pages. In all, the website is 4 pages deep and as of today, somehow generates around 1,000 unique visits a month.


Fast forward to college. I had the burning desire to create a business, so I taught myself html/css.
Now I can design a nice looking website if I do say so myself. The first website I designed while
learning html/css was going to be an affiliate website for a new product that had just been released.
After hearing about drop-shipping, I decided to contact the company whose item I was going to try and earn affiliate commissions on and asked about drop-shipping. They happily replied, and I built a simple 1 page website that sells their product and now I sell maybe 1 or 2 a week. Nothing special, maybe $30 profit... I should probably add more content. I then designed my fathers law firm website and learned a lot over the course of that websites design and implementation.
Anyways, I liked the idea of amazons affiliate model and so Ive been sucked in by some of the various  threads on the forum. Whitepassions is one of course. Ive decided to try and use the website from my  high-school days to earn some affiliate commissions through an Amazon Review website. Ive redesigned the entire website by hand, and as Im writing this, Ive personally completed 23 of 37 review articles  I require to be completed before I launch the new website.

I dont like the idea of being entirely dependent on Amazon, so Ive included some other third party affiliate offers on my website that offer both value and appeal to my website. Think along the lines of an affiliate program for customizing cleats for a cleat review website. Thats obviously not my niche, but you get the idea. It brings both value and a potential income stream for the website. I will also offer a free ebook to hopefully start building an email list.

Early on, I didnt want to write 37 different 600 word articles on a topic that I wasnt passionate about, so I tried to purchase articles for $4 per 500 words an article, $5 , and then $9. I ultimately ended up with around 20 somewhat useless articles. The $9 articles are decent, but not good enough for my money site.

After the website has been uploaded with the 37 different articles, I plan to write another 37 articles. However these articles will be my tier 1 and will point back to their individual product. So for example I would write a review for a pair of cleats for the moneysite, I would then write another review for the same pair of cleats, but this time, I would upload it to a Web 2.0 and point it back to the moneysite product review. I expect this to take a while. After these tier 1 articles are complete, I plan to use the crappy articles I purchased as a tier 2 for the tier 1 product reviews.

If the website begins to make money after its initial launch, I will probably outsource the 37 tier 1 articles. So anyway, thats the current game plan which Im sure will change. I havent done anything like this before so Im curious to hear your thoughts, and if you would like, grab a beer, pull up a chair, and lets see where this goes. Thank you

When You start Your PPC Campaign Off On The Rights

Below I will share you some ideas when you start your PPC campaign.

I believe that most people fail at Paid Advertising not because they are stupid, but rather they start off their campaign focusing on the completely wrong thing.

Most people start a campaign around a certain traffic source (Adwords, Facebook, Youtube). This can quickly lead you down a rabbit hole of fail.

Instead, you should shape your campaign around your niche and what you are selling. By doing this, you can estimate how much you can afford to pay per visitor (normally called Cost Per Click or CPC). Once you have an idea of your ideal CPC, you then shop around for traffic sources that fit your CPC goal.

How do you calculate your CPC? Here’s the Formula:

(Gross Revenue Per Sale/Lead) * (Estimated Conversion Rate) = Your MAX CPC

I hope that you know your Gross Revenue Per Sale/Lead, but how do you estimate your Conversion Rate?

Generally, a well built campaign has between a 5-10% conversion rate. It also depends greatly on how you monetize. If you are selling a $2,000 elliptical, then shooting for a 5-10% conversion rate is a little optimistic. 1-2% is probably more realistic. If you are getting visitors to submit their email for a free ipad, then you can easily break a 10% conversion rate. A well built email submit can easily convert at 25%.

Note: I suggest you follow the conversion rates for Google Display for other forms of Display advertising.

I’d recommend to start a campaign on the conservative side, as you can always get more aggressive once you determine your actual conversion rate. I suggest using a 2-5% conversion rate for the formula.

Here’s an example:

I am selling Ugg Boots and my average sale is $200. My Gross Revenue is $150. The average conversion rate for the Shopping Industry for Google Search is: 3.58% and for Google Display is: 2.19%. I want to start of very conservative, so i’m going to expect a 2% conversion rate. Time to plug in the formula:

$150 * 2% = $3. So I can afford to pay a maximum of $3 per click to breakeven at a 2% conversion rate.

After a look at Google’s Keyword Tool, we can expect to pay between $1-1.50 for Google Search, and probably less for Google Display. Now you may wonder why everyone else is bidding $1-$1.50 when we can afford $3 per click. That’s because most of the bidders are probably retailers who do not have a Gross Revenue of $150 for $200 Ugg Boots. In fact, we can probably reverse engineer how much their Gross Revenue is with this formula:

(Cost Per Click)/(Estimated Conversion Rate) = Gross Revenue. ($1.50 CPC)/(3% Conversion Rate) = $50. A Gross Revenue of $50 for a retailer selling $200 Ugg Boots sounds very realistic to me.

Now what if Google’s Keyword tool told us that we could expect to pay $5-7 per click. Well then we know that Google Search probably isn’t the right traffic source for our campaign. By quickly calculating our Max CPC, we saved ourselves a bunch of money by not ignorantly jumping into Google Search. Having said that, Google’s Keyword Tool is often inaccurate and almost always incomplete, meaning it shows only a fraction of the keywords in a niche.. Even if the Keyword tool showed a $5-7 CPC, I would still setup Search & Display campaigns. Why? Because I will set my max CPC to $3. What’s the worst that can happen? I get zero volume at $3 because everyone else is outbidding me. Zero Volume = We didn’t lose any money.

To sum this post up nicely, you want to start off your paid advertising campaign informed of how much you can afford to pay per visitor. If instead you start off your campaign ignorantly, you can quickly find yourself bidding on $5 clicks when you can only afford $3. You might as well burn your money for heat.
